At Shadows & Stories, we take great pride in the quality of our books and merchandise. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help — within the guidelines below.
We accept returns for books within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange:
The item must be in new, unused, and resellable condition.
All original packaging must be intact (including shrink wrap, if applicable).
Proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation or receipt) is required.
Non-returnable books include:
Digital or downloadable products (eBooks, audiobooks, etc.)
Used or damaged books
Books marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at checkout
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment once the returned item has been received and inspected.
We accept returns for eligible merchandise within 14 days of delivery.
Items must be:
Unworn, unused, and undamaged
Returned in original packaging (including tags, if applicable)
Accompanied by proof of purchase
Non-returnable items include:
Opened or used items (such as drinkware, apparel, or collectibles)
Merchandise marked as “Final Sale”
Refunds will be processed once the returned product has been received and verified to be in acceptable condition.
Due to their unique nature, custom or personalized products (such as limited-edition signed copies, made-to-order items, or personalized merchandise) cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.
If your custom product arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and your order details. We’ll review your case and provide a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or in error.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery of your return.
Shadows & Stories is not responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit.

Photos (if applicable)
We’ll respond within 2–3 business days with instructions on how to complete your return.
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5 business days.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
At this time, direct exchanges are not supported.
